Legal notice

cx-composer is an independent, third-party developer tool for Liferay developers. It is not produced, endorsed, or sponsored by Liferay, Inc.

# trademark

Liferay® and Liferay DXP® are registered trademarks of Liferay, Inc.

cx-composer for Liferay is an independent third-party product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Liferay, Inc. The product name uses “Liferay” in the nominative fair-use sense — to describe compatibility, not to imply origin or endorsement.

# third-party sources

cx-composer references public documentation and code samples from learn.liferay.com and github.com/liferay/liferay-portal to build and verify its schema for client-extension.yaml. These references are used descriptively; no Liferay source code is redistributed. Field lists and type identifiers reflect the public Liferay Client Extension YAML reference at the time of writing.

# data collection

cx-composer runs entirely in your VS Code instance. It does not transmit your yaml, code, or license key to third-party servers. License validation (when a Pro key is entered) is performed offline against a local decoder shipped with the extension. Future releases may add an optional online license check against a first-party endpoint; this policy will be updated before that happens.
